Chicago summer festivals kick off!

Posted Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 by Amy

One of the best things about Chicago, in my humble opinion, is the onslaught of festivals that the summer brings. Come visit Koru Street and celebrate music, food and shopping in the few months of gorgeous weather this city provides. A list of events will always be updated on the blog site and on our “Where to Buy” page. Look forward to seeing you there!

New Products!

Posted Saturday, November 28th, 2009 by Amy

Just in time for the holiday shopping season, Koru Street has added a new line of bags manufactured in Barcelona, Spain by Demano. Recycled vinyl banners originally used to advertise local festivals and exhibitions are turned into waterproof bags of all sizes. When kite surfers throw away their kites, torn by the fight against the elements, Demano reuses this light and sturdy material to produce lightweight yet sturdy totes and messenger bags. Check out our Bags & Purses section to see all of these items. You will recognize them by their white background. We also have some fun new Conserve products, created with recycled inner tube and plastic bags, which are differentiated by their grass background.
